The role of a main or family carer can never be underestimated. At Care And Respite England, we provide a fully comprehensive respite service to help relieve the worry and anxiety of leaving your loved ones alone. Our service can provide a fully qualified Care Giver anywhere from 1 hour to 2 weeks (holiday cover), on a regular or adhoc basis. We provide appropriate levels of supervision to protect our clients safety in the absence of a main or family carer. It may be that your carer wants to catch up on some sleep or have errands to run in town. Care and Respite England are on hand to assist with relief Care Givers for day or night sittings.

Our qualified staff have a wealth of experience and are fully DBS and reference checked. All carers are trained to the highest standard using industry leading training providers. We strive to ensure a full skills and personality match is made when placing our care givers into your homes. We understand the intrusive nature of our service and will make sure you are comfortable and respected by all care and office staff.

Respite or Relief Care is often necessary for main or family carers and mirrors the care service in the type of assistance our care givers can provide. The services we provide are summarised below but all clients are different so a full assessment would be necessary prior to any service starting

• Administration/supervision of medication

• Assistance with getting in/out of bed

• Assistance with personal hygiene including bathing and hair washing

• Assistance with mobility

• Assistance with meal preparation

• Continence management

• Domestic management including shopping, cleaning, laundry, banking, bill paying

• Palliative care

• Re-enablement

• Support with community interaction

• Night sitting service

Care And Respite England will conduct a Free – No Obligation assessment of your needs. You are encouraged to have family or advocates with you to support you through the assessment. We will try to understand your requirements and fit these into a plan that is agreeable by all parties.
